A Moment With the Scripture

At a young age, I yearned at reading the Bible. I clearly remember when I asked my mother to buy me one. Then I forget everything that followed...

From preparatory to elementary to high school, I've been on a Catholic School that imparted God's words in each and every student. And I am really thankful that I had been sent to such schools that I was able to know most stories in the Bible.

But then, life had been too good to me that I, once more, yearned at conversing with God through His words. Yes, it really felt like talking to Him whenever I read His words. Two months ago, I had enrolled myself on a Bible reading plan by YouVersion.com allowing me to be able to read the whole Bible for 365 days. The said Bible Reading Plan by YouVersion is entitled A Moment With the Scripture. And I really felt blessed that I am now on my 60^th day.

I am always caught in surprise knowing that there are a lot of things that I never knew was in the Scripture. My emotion is like a child that is genuinely amazed and equally happy whenever I found out that the rainbow and pistachio nuts are mentioned in the Bible. NO, there isn't a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow; instead, the rainbow symbolizes God's promise that there would no longer be a flood similar to that of Noah's time.

Start having your moment with the Scripture. You will never get tired of reading it; instead, you'll be longing each day for that moment when you have to converse with Our Father.

When I was still in the graveyard shift, I got almost NO time to blog. But now that I am on a mid-shift, I was able to give some time to my hobby ~ to WRITE. Where is the Safest Place on Earth?

Early Tuesday(?) morning, I was able to watch Kara David's documentary entitled "Silong" for I-Witness. If you failed to watch it, I had embedded the video from YouTube for you.

My heart melts as I continue watching the documentary. I even tried to stop a tear from falling. Do I pity them? Definitely NO. There are a number of amazing manifestations of "love" I found from it. Imagine a woman who has nothing to offer (but love) can adopt a number of children who is in search of love. Nobody from the wealthy could (I assume) do that like what the woman has done.

And while they were always in search of a place to stay; hence the title "Silong", I am also puzzled on what Kara David's statement, that as long as they are together, no matter where they are at, they could sleep soundly for they know that safety is around them. And then I have to say, indeed, the safest place on earth is not a specific stationary location; the safest place on earth is being with your family (or those whom treated you as their family) - even without a sturdy wall and ceiling.

Owling is the Newest Craze!

When I was young, one of the songs that describe how I feel is "Reflection" by Christina Aguilera. The line's that I really love include:

Indeed, at some point in our lives, we are just wearing a mask (not literally of course) in order to be accepted to the world that we mingle in our daily lives. But, at the end of the day, we would face the mirror and ask ourselves who we are.

Oh well, that's history for me. I grew up mentally, and most of all spiritually, that enabled me to wittily face everyday's challenges. If that is the case, what's this mask-thingy all about? Well, it's because I Want to Wear a Mask in Bacolod's MassKara Festival!

This time, I mean wearing a mask literally.

I searched the genesis of MassKara Festival and was touched by its triumphant beginnings. In a nut shell, Bacolod City (the City of Smiles) held the very first MassKara Festival to symbolize their steadfastness despite the tough times that they are going through. Very Filipino, I believe.

This thought comes to my mind yesterday as I desire to watch the NBA All Star exhibition game against PBA and Smart Gilas this coming weekend.

Of coure, I am setting my own conditions:

It should not be something related to the basic needs of human beings (e.g. food, shelter, clothing);
It should be something that I can live without; hence, a luxury; and,
It should be something that I would really buy if I had that richness and need not be thrift.

I know these conditions can still grow as I completed my Million journey. But for now, I'd stick to those three.

Love As I See It

What is LOVE? I guess the very best definition of love is written in the Bible, and I quote:

Love is patient,
love is kind.
It does not envy,
it does not boast,
it is not proud.
- 1 Corinthians 13:4

As for me, the picture above is almost a complete package of how I define LOVE in my life. LOVE is something that can be shown and felt despite the distance.

I had openly shared that I've been an OFW for six months. My experience before, during, and after had drowned me with so much love and affection from my family and my angel. I know I would not have survived even that small span of time if not for their support ~ love.

Taking advantage of technology, I was able to be with the people that matter in my life despite the distance. Merely seeing them together with their heartfelt smiles (though I know inside our hearts we misses the warmth of physical presence) and virtual hugs and kisses already makes me stronger - allowing me to look forward to tomorrow.

Happiness

Yesterday, the joint service in the church focused on this verse:

Be glad in the Lord at all times: again I say, Be glad.
- Philippians 4:4

While inside the church, my mind is wandering elsewhere, but is still focused at the verse. Be glad. Be happy. What does happiness really mean? Does happiness necessarily entail nonstop laughter? I don't know, but there's something that pondered on my mind and heart.

I had worked for eight years in four different companies. There's a point in my working life that I had asked (or probably become envious) why did most of my classmates before seem to have better job positions (and salary for that matter) than I did when in fact, I am (ehem) way much brilliant than them. And then I think again.

When I was in Singapore and was about to go home - for good, I heard a number of comments coming here and there. The thing that hit me the most is, while everyone is, by all means, doing everything just to have the job that I am having right now, I am wasting this opportunity in exchange for a not so sure life in the Philippines. But I had a firm decision to no longer extend my contract nor accept the regular position being offered to me by my former employer. And so I think again.

Going back here in the Philippines, I have been, and still is an unemployed individual. I had a number of story regarding my ~~job hunt~~ which deserves another post, so I will not story tell it here. The things that happened, well, made me think again.

And so I learned that job position nor high salary won't necessarily make me happy. When someone would bully me and say, what happened to you? You graduated Magna Cum Laude yet you are simply that? I guess my proud response would be, it doesn't really matter, what matters is I AM HAPPY.

I guess it really boils down to one thing - in being happy. So what makes me happy? It is being surrounded by the people that I love. It is being contented to what life is offering me, and trusting God that He'll do wonders despite the problems.

I love Philippines. Most probably, that is one of the main reasons why after six (6) months, I decided to be back and stay. I know, despite all the problems our country is now facing, there's a whole lot about the Philippines that we all should be proud of. Among these things is a Filipino invention - OTTO Waterless Urinal with re-usable cartridges!

We all know that we are facing problems in water supply. It is relevantly felt each summer. Thus, water conservation is really a must!

A European technology responded in this need that they had invented waterless urinals with disposable cartridges. These urinals are now being used in some restaurants and malls. The drawback however is, since it is using disposable cartridges, it is quite expensive and may create a pile of garbage with these cartridges being thrown roughly every three months.

Well, we cannot tolerate to have another source of trash to pile up with the existing ones. I believe this is another consideration Mr. Jerry Ong has in mind aside from conserving water as he improved the European technology.

He had improved the existing waterless urinals in the market today to have it's cartridges re-usable.

So what does having these re-usable cartridges mean? Obviously, aside from saving tons of water from being waterless, it also is helping Mother Earth from generating garbage that could somehow do harm to it. And a domino effect will arise. Since you no longer need to purchase cartridges, you simply need to reuse it, it will cut costs from your maintenance. All the more, it is easy to clean as a feature of its unique design.

Upon opening my Firefox last November 8, the following image greeted me:

I become curious and look what the image is all about. It came to my knowledge that November 8 is X-Ray's Discovery. Allow me to quote a paragraph from Wikipedia:

On November 8, 1895, German physics professor Wilhelm Röntgen stumbled on X-rays while experimenting with Lenard and Crookes tubes and began studying them. He wrote an initial report "On a new kind of ray: A preliminary communication" and on December 28, 1895 submitted it to the Würzburg's Physical-Medical Society journal.[50] This was the first paper written on X-rays. Röntgen referred to the radiation as "X", to indicate that it was an unknown type of radiation. The name stuck, although (over Röntgen's great objections) many of his colleagues suggested calling them Röntgen rays. They are still referred to as such in many languages, including German and Russian. Röntgen received the first Nobel Prize in Physics for his discovery.

It is really interesting how Google integrates a little bit of history in their site. Hoping for discovering a lot of things in the coming days through it :)

Let me start this post by posting the tweet of my angel:
True that! Sometimes, I am guilty of failing to thank the Lord for the bountiful blessings that He had been bestowing me. Although "I Love You" and "Sorry" are the words that are most difficult to utter, I guess "Thank You" are the words that are most forgotten to say.

Anyway, why am I discussing about giving thanks? It is because Toblerone Philippines would want to start a tradition of celebrating October 20 as the National Thank You Day. Indeed, we Filipinos had a lot to be thankful for. What am I thankful for? Here you go:

I just registered and posted a photo in Thank You Day Museum that represents something that we Filipinos should be thankful for, our close family ties. Here's a snapshot of my entry:

We Filipinos are known to have close family ties, and I am very much thankful for that. Being born Filipino, I grow up around a family where I am loved. And I am really thankful for having a family beside me who supports me in anything and everything that I do, a family whom I could ask for advices in matters where I have to deal with crossroads. Thank you!

I posted our family picture - my parents, my brother, my sister, and I. I am really thankful for having them in my life. In the same way, I am thankful that I am born Filipino. I guess I'll grew up differently if I'm not. Do you share the same sentiments?

I also posted a Thank You Message for my family. Just recently, I had gone through one of the toughest decision that I have to make in my life. And I am just glad that I have them around. I know that no matter what happens, I'll always have them by my side. Really, they made my decision making a lot easier. I'm so much grateful for having my family. I really am.

It was after fulfilling my duty as a Filipino citizen that I spent a couple of hours or so in front of our computer to do my usual stuff - blog. Then I came across a contest at Vince Golangco's site giving away Premier Tickets for the "You Again" movie. Honestly, I am hesitant to join at first for I don't know what the movie is all about. But, my instinct told me to do so. That's why I give it a go. Barangay Elections

Once again, I have done my part of being a Filipino. Although I did not wake up as early as what I did last May 10, 2010; I am that confident that I won't toil a long line of voters in our precinct. And I am right. Upon arriving at our precinct, we were immediately assisted and provided with our ballots.

It was a quick one for I already have my list that I just need to copy at my ballot. I then drop mine in the ballot boxes and had my point finger inked.

Yesterday, after accompanying pEDo and ChickenLegs at the bus station to reserve tickets for the upcoming Eye Run 'Coz I Care in Baguio City, I headed back to Five Star Bus Terminal to go home. I am seated at the back-most part of the bus beside a number of college students who seem to be having an out of town trip. I kept quiet with a poker face. And I was surprised (or shall I say encouraged) for these group of college students say a li'l prayer before the bus left the terminal. My poker face is replaced with a sweet smile that reflects how my heart feels at that very moment.

That brought a question in my mind. I wonder how the others would react if they would witness such event. I believe others are that shy to say a prayer in public. Why? I am proud of these group of students who are not shy to profess their faith in God. And I am proud that my angel thought me to. Before meal, we would normally hold hands and give grace to God. I hope everyone would practice it - regardless of religion. We all, no matter what and no matter when, should pray to God - to praise Him, to ask for forgiveness, to give Him thanks, and to ask His divine providence.

Family Day, I Love!

I am so loving Saturdays for it had turned out to be a family day for me. ♥

Last Saturday, my brother and I is scheduled for warts removal (face area) at Belo Medical Group (BMG) Clinic at SM Megamall Atrium. Ooops, before raising your eyebrows for the price, put it down first. Ours is discounted and the remaining charge is to be deducted on my sister's salary. She's an employee of BMG, let's holla!

We arrived at SM Megamall around 30 minutes before our appointment (5:20PM). So, we headed at Chowking first to heat up or hungry stomachs. I had my hot hot lomi :)

Afterward, we proceed to BMG clinic for our procedure. First, we had a short consultation with the doctor to check our faces (warts). Then we're headed to another room to apply a cream that would serve as our anesthesia for the laser warts removal.

After 30 minutes, we were transferred back to the doctors room. The procedure is painful when the warts are located near the eyes. My brother even teased me on why am I crying. Then I answered back, "You will cry too." And yes, he did :P

Here's the aftermath of our procedure, LOL!

Ixora coccinea, known as the Jungle Geranium, Flame of the Woods, and Jungle Flame, is a common flowering shrub native to Asia. Its name derives from an Indian deity. Although there are some 400 species in the genus Ixora, only a handful are commonly cultivated, and the common name, Ixora, is usually used for I. coccinea. I. coccinea is a dense, multi-branched evergreen shrub, commonly 4–6 ft (1.2–2 m) in height, but capable of reaching up to 12 ft (3.6 m) high. It has a rounded form, with a spread that may exceed its height. The glossy, leathery, oblong leaves are about 4 in (10 cm) long, with entire margins, and are carried in opposite pairs or whorled on the stems. Small tubular, scarlet flowers in dense rounded clusters 2-5 in (5–13 cm) across are produced almost all year long. There are numerous named cultivars differing in flower colour (yellow, pink, orange) and plant size. Several popular cultivars are dwarfs, usually staying under 3 ft (1 m) in height. Ixora 'Nora Grant' is a popular dwarf and 'Super King' is a popular hybrid with much larger flower clusters than the species.

In our country, we call this Santan. I remember my childhood days when I get the extract from each stem to drink, LOL!

My Nurse

I thought I won't be able to feel the pain during my hate day of the month this August. Last month, the pain is somewhat tolerable; hence, I still report for work last Tuesday in spite of the anticipated pain.

Unfortunately, I was wrong. I should have just stayed home. *sigh* I left work at around 1PM. God is good and providing for it was not sunny nor raining at that time. At the same sense, I was able to hail a cab easily.

The time from the moment I leave the office until I arrived home seem to be the longest. The travel is the most agonizing one. I never wanted to be in the same situation again, ever.

I lull myself to sleep (in pain). Then, as I woke up, I never wanted to eat anything but cup noodles; hence, my 3-year old niece, Stephanie, bought me one. I ate it up. She (my niece) asked me to eat rice; but I really don't have an appetite. But she insisted, and the next thing that happens is this:

She's so sweet right? My nurse did make me well. :)

Happy 1st Birthday Elisha Marik

My angel and I attended the first birthday celebration of his goddaughter last Sunday at Jollibee - National Book Store branch at Quezon Avenue, Quezon City. It was a fun-filled birthday that we enjoyed although we're no longer kids. The Jollibee mascot make it all happen. He just puts on a show that even adults would really love.

We also went home with a full belly, hee hee. Jollibee spaghetti with chicken joy, hamburger, and peach-mango pie (nom nom nom).

Gentlemen Still Exists

One of the "challenges" that I had to face everyday is to hail a bus from my province to Quezon City. Sometimes it's as easy as a walk in the park, sometimes I have to wait for a couple of minutes or as long as an hour, and sometimes I never got to ride one at all. There will also be moments when I got to ride one but have to stand for 5 minutes or so or for the entire bus ride. Good thing though, Gentlemen Still Exists.

The picture above is taken last March 10 of this year. The guy in white shirt with blue prints gave his seat to me. At first, I thought that maybe, he'll be alighting the bus somewhere before we enter the Sta. Rita Tollgate (NLEX). But I was wrong, he is just that good to offer his seat to me. I believe the happiness that someone felt when he had lend a hand or had helped someone is priceless as compared to the comfort of being seated among others. At the same time, it is heartwarming to know that Gentlemen Still Exists.

Last Friday on my way home together with an officemate, he uttered "Sana walang pasok sa Monday". It took me a while before answering, then I replied "Sana. Officer ako eh".

Well, our prayers were answered. Although it won't be this coming Monday, at least it will be on two (2) Mondays of this month. Hooray!

Update:

Just when I'm on the hype of looking forward to two Monday's off, I read that August 23 would just be a regular working day; August 21 is the non-working holiday.

Grant Me Patience, Oh Lord!

These are the words that have been running on my mind since yesterday. I badly need patience (work-wise). I feel like this little ant:

Not that I am loaded at work. You see, I can still blog here, meaning, I still got time to take a break and all. BUT, I just feel so tired of the same old routine that I've been doing; and worse, I haven't been gaining any more knowledge. Feels like I'm the exact opposite of myself back when I was studying. I don't know, but I believe that there's something wrong.

I've got two choices: to quit or to stay. I'm more likely inclined on quitting; I'm just finding the perfect time. For now, all I need is a little more patience.

And now that I am given the opportunity by 'Letters That I'll Never Send', I'll make the most to ask you 3 wishes.

Peace of Mind - I would have wanted to ask you a high paying job. But I guess having peace of mind is much more important to me than that. No matter what job I could have, there will always be moments when I feel stressed or not satisfied. So, instead of asking you that, I would love you to grant me the serenity that I would need.
The Ability to Manage My Time - I could not ask you to make a week a total of eight days. I may still not be able to manage it properly; instead please grant me the ability to manage my time properly so that I could say 'NO' soon enough to commitments that I cannot fulfill; and say 'YES' quickly to family activities that I am mostly missing.
Fulfillment of My Love Ones Dreams - My utmost dream is to see my family and my angel having that 'true happiness' felt in their hearts. To attain that, I ask you to fulfill their dreams.

There, I know it's kinda hard to grant my wishes for I never asked you to give me a house and a car of my own. I don't need a house, I need a home. I don't need a car, I need to learn how to drive.

Noise

If you'll ask me on what easily irritates me, I guess the first hand answer that you'll get from me is NOISE. Yes, I hate NOISE. Last Monday, a new air-condition unit has been installed in our office. And it just irritates me that it is producing a noise. Add it up to the mp3 player to the loudest volume of my officemate. Argh!

Good thing it was silenced today for it is dripping. Ah... That is what I call silence.

South East Asian Airlines (SEAIR) is currently holding a blogger contest dubbed as "SEAIR & Microtel Boracay Bloggers' Tour". SEAIR, together with Microtel Inns & Suites will be choosing eight lucky bloggers to join an all-expense paid bloggers' tour of Boracay from September 10 to 12, 2010. Q: Why should I be chosen to join the SEAIR & Microtel Boracay Bloggers' Tour?

A: Because I want to have an experience of a lifetime.

On my way to work today, I am contemplating on what to answer this seem-to-be-easy-but-hard question. I am asking myself, "Why should you be chosen? Are you deserving?" It took me a while before I finally come up with a kinda-sort-of-valid answer. And the following explains my answer further.

I WANT TO EXPERIENCE A SATISFYING AIRPLANE RIDE

In the almost 29 years of my existence here on earth, I only traveled by air thrice (make it six times for a round trip). My first ride is composed by fear - it's my first time. My second is composed of fright - the turbulence scares me that much. And the third one is composed of nothingness - for I really don't want to have that ride (explanation in the succeeding paragraphs).

Thus, this time around, I wanted to enjoy how it feels like to fly.

I WANT TO ENJOY THE PHILIPPINES

Funny (or shall I say embarrassing), but I am really not a well traveled individual. I am a foreigner to our country - to this beautiful and almost-heaven country. The trips that I had via airplane is a business trip that I did not really have the luxury to enjoy our country's beauty. I've been to Bohol but failed to have even a quick view of the Chocolate Hills - oh, pity me. And what about Cebu? I hardly remember what Cebu has to offer me back then. All I remember was the famous Tabo-an where you can buy dried seafoods for pasalubong.

Thus, this time around, I wanted to enjoy and see how beautiful and rich our country is.

I WANT TO TRY TO BE A SOCIAL PERSON

I may be very active online. I got a number of blogs. I'm active in Twitter. And my Facebook had its rebirth sometime this year. But you gotta believe me that when I meet co-bloggers offline, something's holding me back. I feel aloof at meeting and socializing with persons I know or had befriended online. Most likely, I am not used to it. I had joined several blogger events/briefings. And most of the time, I just position myself at a corner and never really mingle a lot.

Thus, I wanted to meet and greet and be friends with co-bloggers offline.

Wrapping it all up, I should be chosen to join the tour to have an experience of a lifetime - something that I haven't really enjoyed after almost 29 years of existence.

An Old Man

Earlier, on my way to work, I am seated beside an old man in the passenger bus that I am riding. He is wearing a formal attire - long sleeves and slacks. He had a hand bag (similar to that of laptop bags). His black hair is all brushed up. He would probably be reporting for work.

My initial reaction is - sympathy. I told myself, in that age, he should be enjoying his life to the fullest and not enduring the responsibilities of a working man. I can't help but stare at his distorted fingers. And I guess, he is intentionally putting away his face off from my sight.

I removed my stare from him and reflect. I should not be judging him (or any of his family members) for letting him report to work (if he really is working) at that age. Most likely, that is the best way he knew of how he could enjoy his life. He probably prefer to work and be productive rather than staying at home and waiting for someone to visit him and provide love and care. I hope that's really the way it is.

Reflecting, I ask myself, "Am I going to work still when I reached such age?" Honestly, I don't want to... but we'll never know.

Well, not exactly. Let me share you the story.

I have this online friend in the name of Janette Toral. She asked me a favor to like and/or comment on her entry for the "1 Minute Fun Flick Fest" of the "Enjoy Philippines" Fan Page in Facebook. Well, it'll just consume less than a couple of minutes of my time, so I do her a favor.

I did not really read the mechanics, I just do the norms - liked Enjoy Philippines, liked her video entry, and left a comment related to her entry. Then one day, someone sent me a message in Facebook telling me that I can claim my prize at (enter address here). I am really surprised for I know not of a contest where I won or anything, so I reply with a strange message asking "what prize?", LOL! She then explained to me about the 1 Minute Fun Flick Fest contest. It slowly sank into my senses. I searched Facebook and found this Notes page:

I won! I really do. And I did not just won a gift certificate or something, I won an 8GB iPod Touch (2nd Generation).

My Top Emerging Influential Blogs for 2010

I can still remember the turn out of this writing project, Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs, last year. In fact, my blog had been nominated But I failed it to the top 10. I am not that influential, I know. But hey, it brought me my Power50 family - the family that included the top influential blog, Writing to Exhale by Jan Geronimo. Unfortunately, he had been on hiatus for quite a long time now despite our encouragement. He's too busy with his farm. Yup, that online farm thingy, LOL! Just kidding Jan. I know you're still reading a lot, you might be reading this one too. C'mon, post something again sometime. Another anatomy of your Farmville will do, hee hee.

Anyhow, here's my Top Emerging Influential Blogs for 2010 that somehow influence me [encourage me, help me, or simply make me eager to read their blogs]:

Facebuko (http://facebuko.com/) - this one gave me a good laugh. I had known this blog from Nuffnang and had been a good company whenever I'm bored. I even wrote an entry in my blog about it.
Pinoy Gossip Boy (http://pinoygossipboy.ph/) - I am really not into showbiz chismis. But if I am intrigued by one, I know where I could get the latest news around.
Brief Stories (http://briefstories.blogspot.com/) - Well, Joemill and his brief stories inspired me to love the Philippines more. But the first thing that comes into my mind whenever I think of his blog was his post showing the sample ballot for the upcoming 'computerized' elections. I am looking for one at that time, that's why, he he. I borrowed his sample ballot here.
140 Flash Fiction (http://www.140flashfiction.com/) - The writer behind this blog make it to the top 10 last year. His English has depth. He encourages me to write short stories (and recover my poems of my highschool years). My bad. I'm sorry Doc Z, still haven't got back to you with my poems. At least I tried making a short story right?
The Lunch Break Blogger (http://www.thelunchbreakblogger.com/) - Believe it or not, the blogger behind this blog inspires me. Another member of our Power50 family. I remember it is in twitter where his blog's name had been brought into reality. I (We) teased him for he only got the chance to blog (and tweet) on lunch breaks. Well at least despite the busy schedule, he still manages to give some time for his blog (once in a blue moon, LOL).

Most of the blogs that I frequent does not qualify for the emerging influential blogs requirements. So I guess I'd stay with just five. Besides, I need to have a shortlist of the blogs that I think is influential right? I did not based it on how influential they are to the blogosphere. Instead, I based it on how they influenced me.

I Commit to Change the Way I Spend My Time

They say that the best way to show love is to give your quality time. Reflecting on how I am spending my time daily gives a little guilt in my heart – I am not really spending my time to the persons that matter to me the most, to the persons that I cannot live without, to the people that I really love.

God, of course I love God – above all things? That’s something that I have to work with, I admit. Thus, I am committing myself at working on it. I maybe able to keep holy the Sabbath Day, but I know that’s insufficient. I should be bringing praises and thanks to God each and every moment of the day. I commit at integrating prayer in my everyday life, every hour, every minute, every second. And I commit at being in union with God not only in times of trouble, but in all times of my life.

Family, I am lucky to be part of a very wonderful, loving family. But I have been preoccupied with my weekly runs that I am finding myself spending even weekends out of our home. And when I’m in, it’s as if I’m not around for I am indulged with social media. I maybe uttering daily that I love my mother, but I am guilty of not being able to spend quality time with her. Thus, I commit that I will only be joining races twice a month (I guess that’s just fair). And I commit that, upon arriving home from work, I will be spending a ‘chit-chat’ time with my mother to catch up on each other and refrain from booting my PC and surf all night. I love my mother. I commit to show it to her.

Myself, am I forgetting you already? Before I can give out love, I should love myself first. And the best way to show that I love myself is give quality time. Once more, I am guilty at not giving quality time to myself. Thus, I commit that, at least twice a month, I will be pampering myself, giving myself a break, treating myself to good food, or even relaxing with a pampering massage. Whatever it would be, I commit to spend quality time with myself, to show that I love ME.

In a nutshell, I commit to change the way I spend my time by giving more to those that I love – God, family, and myself.

Weak

Sudden burst of emotions? Maybe.

I don't know, but last Saturday, that is exactly how I can characterize myself - weak.

I almost cried a tear. Almost.

Probably I'm just tired or something.
Maybe a lot of thoughts had been running on my mind and nothing seem to be clearer.

No matter what this is, I hope I'd get better SOON.
